As you can see, class 10 is for local users and is protected by
password, class 1 is for remote users and 2 for servers.
When I try to connect from localhost it ask me for the password, so I
think I'm doing things in the right way and I'm class 10 (local):
USER jesus.pr h0m3r.afraid.org irc.h0m3r.afraid.org :h0m3r
NICK h0m3r
:irc.h0m3r.afraid.org 464 h0m3r :Password Incorrect
ERROR :Closing Link: h0m3r[h0m3r@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] (Bad
Password)
PASS hackme
USER jesus.pr h0m3r.afraid.org irc.h0m3r.afraid.org :h0m3r
NICK h0m3r
:irc.h0m3r.afraid.org 001 h0m3r :Welcome to the Internet Relay
Network h0m3r!h0m3r@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
but:
- There is an O-Line for class 10 and when I try to become IrcOp it
says that there isn't any O-Line for my host
OPER h0m3r hackme
:irc.h0m3r.afraid.org 491 h0m3r :No O-lines for your host
and if I change the class of the O-Line to 1 it works.
- Class 10 has unlimited number of links, but I can only open one
connection, as if I were class 1:
PASS hackme
USER jesus.pr h0m3r.afraid.org irc.h0m3r.afraid.org :h0m3r
NICK h0m3r_2
:irc.h0m3r.afraid.org 005 h0m3r_2 :Try server irc.unionlatina.org,
port 6667
ERROR :Closing Link: h0m3r_2[h0m3r@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] (Too many
user connections (local))
To summarize: Since it asks me for the password it seems like I am class
10, but then I seem to be class 1.
Am I connecting as class 10 and them become 1???
What's wrog?
