I recently was made
IRC Administrator of a small server for the students of Alfred University.
The IRC server software was already present from a past employee who was just
fiddling around and now its my job to either update it or replace it. This
software, and I can't even remember the name off the top of my head, has no
Chanserv, NIckserv, or Messageserv making the entire thing useless for our
needs. I'm interested in the use of IRCD which I have unfortunately only
heard about through rumors and was under the impression that it included all the
services and options I need.
If you forward me to
purchasing information for a NT server with roughly 500+ users I and the
rest of my staff that have been searching for hours would greatly appreciate
it.
