Agreed.
It doesn't matter which way the feature is planned, there still is a
chance to misuse it by jumping the modes back and forth (unless the
feature is done in a complicated enough way to make sure it's unusable
for the average user).
Hmm. I cannot remember what was my original opinion about +e/I (as in
was I against it or just the opposite) when it was being planned, but
atm it seems to me like a feature that might not after all be such a
big improvement. At least without defects.
I actually saw a few intelligent (whoa) posts on Operlist about the +e
stuff, I think. But now that I later look in the archive, I can only
find the usual babbling there. Oh well.
BTW. What's happened to the EFnet TS4 stuff? Has it been dumped or how
come there hasn't been much talk about it lately, at least on any of
the lists I am subscribed to ?
