You probably mean +e in the question and not +I ... +I and +b are not
related, you can be +b and +I at the same time. You still need either a
-b, +e or an invite to join.

If you do not allow a +e, unless their is a +b for it, you can't have
this problem. With other words, 1 side can't have a +e for the +b on the
other, without having a +b that matches it too.

anyway, I don't see your problem, maybe you should sleep some more :)

btw: what about setting +e *!*@* ?
