Note: This list is dedicated to Ircnet's ircd. 
All irc servers are capable of handling thousands of users. Twisted* on dalnet
(bahamut) peaks with 40K concurrent users on linux 2.4/Althon 900Mhz.

Not much, from 0KB/s to few KB/s (when doing LIST/NAMEs..). I would say 
something around 0.05KB/s
