new features in 2.11

Hello,

Seems like a high time to think about new features ircd users would
like to have in next version(s) of ircd.

As most of you probably already know, primary goal of 2.11 is to
introduce UID, that is to get rid of nick collisions in favour of
forced nick change. Some coding is already being done, mostly due
to efforts of Damjan Cvetko (Zobo) and Grega Pogacnik (fiction).

Another thing we want to improve is iauth. We would love to let it
do all dirty work with allowing or rejecting clients, based on
various rules. Jakub Vlasek (jv) involved in this matter.

Krome Plasma (Krome) with Zobo made a good deal of job creating
new ircd.conf, bind alike. Some may argue we need even better one,
but the way they did satisfies me (no wonder, I had same idea ;>)
It is not yet included in ircd, but definitely this is the way to go.

Others provide us with good ideas as well. See what I gathered
at http://akson.sgh.waw.pl/~chopin/ircd/WISHLIST -- these are
things people dreamed of ;) (sorry I haven't put your nicks along
ideas, feel free to send me updates). Of course these are only
ideas. Even worse, these are only ideas I thought to be worth
thinking over. Read this, however, before sending your improvements
ideas :)

Of course we are still doing fixes and optimizations to current
2.10.3 code, p2 may come out soon. This (and a lot more!) is
thanks to Kurt Roeckx (Q).

If you are irritated by slow development, I am to be blamed. ;-)
However, I invite everyone to try to help us.
