Re: topiclen fix

I meant, when I change it to e.g. 160 on my server , it's connected to
server where it is 80 and there's server with topiclen 160 behind the 2nd
server, will whole 160 char topic get to thr third server?

It would if the server would transfer whole TOPIC message to other servers.

if the server stores the topic (only 80 char) and then transferr this to
other servers, topic would be as long as the server with shortest

-> quit message, kick message, part message.

well, no problem imho on my side...

does ircd use static arrays (structures) or dynamic pointers?

does topic eat TOPICLEN bytes always or just as much as topic length is (+\0
+ pointer length)? is it the same for all nick/channel infos ?
