I confirm somebody can use the merge time to do "bad" things !
I tried to reproduce this : a channel (#fregate) was desynch and I was trying
to correct this. But it was +stink on one side. I did wait for a split, connect
to a desynch splitted server.

Then, normal things : Channel not available.

But !!! When the merge came, I did join the channel and have no problem to
enter in it. I saw the +stink chan mode come from one server *once* I was in !

I don't have log for this, sorry, but I think anybody could reproduce it.

Just my 2 cents to confirm the problem ...
