Someone also told me about this problem a month ago, and I experimented with
that, entering a client to a server which was lagged at that moment. This
problem obviosly exists on lagged server->server connection, and not only
for mode, but also for privmsg.


Maybe your scripts can do something on lagged client->server connection, but
I doubt they can do anything on lagged server->server.


I can't imagine any way to fix that, unless sending user@host with each mode
and privmsg, but that would encrease the server traffic too much, while not
giving much benefit.


Concerning Nick Flood - why not just implement it like dalnet, when you
can't change your nick too frequently..
