Not having replies to the posts sent to the list is causing this Windows Admin a headache :)
Matus, do you know how I can change that? I have just had a friend help me with a test, and we both joined the same channel but couldn't see each other, though we could speak to each other. It looked like a stereo-typical split to me, so I'm guessing you are correct.

he probably has SPLIT_HANDLE defined and wants to run single server. That causes not to give ops on newly created channels, if there's less than SPLIT_SERV servers and SPLIT_USERS userd connected to the network
