Hello everyone !
I have been running ircd2.10.3.p3 on a box equipped with kernel
2.2.20 and glibc 2.1 for a quite a long time with no problems.
Since upgrade (new box: kernel 2.4.19, glibc 2.3, gcc 3.2) system
became unstable - ircd (recompiled using gcc3.2) cores few times
a day with segmentation fault.
gdb shows spots in malloc functions of libc.so.6:
#0 0x4207467e in malloc_consolidate () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
#0 0x42074160 in _int_malloc () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
#0 0x420744ad in _int_free () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
Has anyone experienced similar problems ?
I am unsure whether they are caused by new kernel, glibc or
compiler.
Thanks in advance
