make error

I keep getting "make: *** [s_bsd.o] Error 1" whilst making irc2.10.3 on
linux RH7, I cant see anything wrong in the Makefile. I used
./configure --prefix=/home/ircd/ircd, all was done from root.
Prior to the error msg I got:-
../ircd/s_bsd.c: In function `read_message':
../ircd/s_bsd.c:2032: `POLLWRNORM' undeclared (first use in this function)
../ircd/s_bsd.c:2032: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
../ircd/s_bsd.c:2032: for each function it appears in.)

Any help would be appreciated.
