I'm sure it can, but the point is that that patch is something that's not
"under out control". There could be other patches that do break certain
commands that I'm not aware of.

topic would be an easy command to change, since it's only the source of
the messages that has to be come anonymous. Others, like MODE, are going
to be alot harder to do it properly.

If someone really wants it, send a patch.
