IRC 2.8.21 compilation

Hi,
     I'm trying to compile the 2.8.21 IRCD.
     The reason i'm using such a back level version is that the other IRC
servers in the network are all 2.8 servers.

     I am using an IBM AIX 4.3.2 server and the CC compiler.

     When I run MAKE I get the following errors.
     I cannot find cachetop, hashtable etc anywhere,, What am I doing wrong
?
