Announcing 2.10.3

A friday the 13th is as good as any day to release a new
version of the IRC Software;

I am very pleased to announce the release of version 2.10.3
and would like to express my gratitude to Kurt Roeckz and
Piotr Kucharski who have made this release possible.

This version marks the end of the 2.10 serie, as future
development effort will now be focused on making nick collisions
harmless by implementing netwide unique identifiers for users.

Only few changes were really made to the IRC server, most of
them bug fixes. The iauth program has been greatly improved,
and will now, in particular, detect versions 4 and 5 socks
proxies.

The complete and detailed list of changes is held in
doc/ChangeLog.

Discussion about this software is welcome in ircd-users@xxxxxxx
mailing list. If you are interested, subscribe by sending
"subscribe ircd-users" in the body of a mail to majordomo@xxxxxxx
