Channels

Dear Sirs,

Sorry to bother you with a question like this, but I don't know where 
 else to go.

I set up a ircd varsion 2.9.5 in my company. Everything is just fine, I 
 can connect with a Windows client and with the client provided with 
 ircd, but there is a problem: there are no channels to join! How are 
 they created?
